David is a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee (QMHP-T), completing his Master of Arts in Counseling at Concordia University Irvine. David has a background in spiritual direction, pastoral care, crisis counseling, and music.
David uses a generative, strengths-based approach to help clients build resiliency while they adjust to life’s challenges. His passion is integrating spiritual formation and interpersonal neurobiology, forming a creative partnership with his clients as they understand and heal from past hurts, identify and process present stressors, and discover their strength to live “fully alive.”
David specializes in treating adults, first responders, humanitarian crisis personnel, young adults, couples, and those employed in helping professions. He has experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, spiritual abuse, betrayal, trauma, and addiction and those who are pursuing personal growth and in significant life transitions.
