Effective August 13, 2024
Thank you for visiting the official website of New Story Behavioral Health (NSBH). Your privacy and personal information are important to us, and we take measures to ensure your personal information is protected. New Story Behavioral Health is a group mental health practice providing holistic psychiatric care, psychotherapy, and electronic communication through this website, SMS, and email – referred to collectively in this document as “Services.” People who visit our website and engage with clinical care or communication are collectively referred to in this document as “Users.”

Communication Methods
NSBH clinicians and staff may use SMS messaging (text messaging) to communicate with clients. The use of SMS is voluntary and does not determine the availability of clinical services. Clients may opt out of SMS messaging with their clinician by replying STOP to their clinician’s number at any time. SMS opt-in or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not being shared.

NSBH clinicians and staff may use electronic mail (email) to communicate with clients. Clients receive secure appointment reminders and billing information through our electronic health record system, TheraNest. When using e-mail to communicate with NSBH, you acknowledge and accept the following risks: Use of e-mail poses risks to the confidentiality of your personal health information. The Internet is an open network and provides no inherent protection for confidential information.
